Since we are still at the planning stage of our house renovation, we decided to check out the options for our house flooring at Home Depot. According to my brother/architect, house flooring is something worth investing on. Here are some things to consider when buying a new flooring for your place:
durability – With the expensive price of flooring nowadays, who would want to get a flooring that will only last for ten years, right. To get a lasting flooring, identify how much foot traffic there will be in a room. From there, you’d know what type and how thick or thin a flooring should be for your room.
maintainability – Various cleaning techniques apply to different types of flooring. Given your lifestyle, choose a flooring that won’t eat much of your cleaning time.
timelessness - The choice of your flooring should withstand the trends and changes your house will be undergoing. Your house should not run out of style because of your flooring.
So there. Now, on to the next item..paint perhaps. Till next time.
